About Us
Brick House Farm is a Smallholding of around nine acres, just north of Chelmsford, in Essex. Neil & Cara have worked to run Brick House Farm as a an Environmentally-sensitive, sustainable Smallholding, keeping rare breed pigs and sheep since 2008.
The sheep, currently around 60 in number, graze both our own land, as well as a number of other small local Wild-flower meadows. Neil also cuts around 1,000 small bales of Wild-flower hay, which helps to maintain the 'Felsted Girth' throughout the winter months...
"We chose Gotlands specifically for their fleece", which, if properly shorn, provides excellent Locks, Tops and Bats, suitable for a range of Craft uses.
