Our Ewes and Wethers were shorn last week, so we have some lovely long curls coming to the shop soon, all shades of natural grey and many subtle and vibrant dyed shades too...

This has been a very exciting week... I have been washing and dyeing Wensleydale fleece. This is a new venture for Felsted Fleece. The gorgeous long creamy white locks are approximately 25cm long and they take dyes beautifully. I have been working on shades of yellow and orange this week as the bright sunny colours brighten up grey February days, check out these 10 lovely shades available through the website...

One of the lovely things about Gotland fleece is the amazing range of greys you get. Even in one fleece, the shades can range from nearly white to very dark grey with all shades in between. Check out our natural mixed greys that we sell in 10g, 50g, 100g and 250g packs
