Spinning Gotland Fleece, woollen or worsted
While in 'lockdown' I have been spinning some of our lovely Gotland fleece. Gotland is so versatile it can be spun in a variety of different ways... the main two ways of spinning are woollen and worsted
The top skein in the picture is a woollen spin, which gives a soft lofty yarn, this gives a springy effect when knitted or crocheted. The skein in the bottom of the picture is a worsted spin which is smoother and silkier, this gives a lovely drape when knitted or crocheted.
