Colour Matching
Good Morning Everyone, and welcome to March!
One of my favourite things to do is work with colour, whether it is seeing how colours turn out on different fleeces or mixing colours to develop a new colourway.
This week I have been working with a customer who wanted some fleece matched for a project she is working on, she didn't know the fleece type or the colour used, but sent me a sample.
I identified the fleece as Wensleydale and used 4 different colours to dye fleece to match her sample, and I am really pleased with the results... the small bit of fleece in the photo is her sample and the larger amount of fleece is my dyeing.
